National Award 2022 - Just a single teacher selected from Tamil Nadu??

A teacher from the state of Tamil Nadu has made many heads to turn now!!
Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu would feel proud and happy that a teacher would receive the National Award for 2022. The teacher Mr. K. Ramachandran has caught the attention of many now as he would be the lone teacher selected from Tamil Nadu to receive the National Award 2022. There are 46 teachers across India who would also be receiving this prestigious award. This was mentioned in a notification from the Union ministry of education.
On 5th September 2022, the award ceremony would take place at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. There are several factors that were taken into account for selecting the teachers for the national award.
These are performance, including initiatives to improve learning outcomes innovative experiments undertaken, organising extra and co-curricular activities, use of teaching-learning material, social mobility, ensuring experiential learning and unique ways for ensuring physical education for the students etc
