Traffic congestion on Chengalpattu GST road due to people going home for Diwali

- Vehicles heading to southern areas are causing a traffic bottleneck on the Tambaram GST road because it is Diwali holiday. In areas like Chromepet, Tambaram, Perungulathur, and others, there has been significant traffic congestion.
- The Athur toll plaza, which is close to Madhuranthakam, is congested. The vehicles have been backed up for approximately a kilometre, causing a significant traffic bottleneck. Although ten counters were opened to reduce traffic, drivers are still having trouble.
