It all started in the year 2020 when the deadly Coronavirus infection began spreading to every nook and corners of the globe like fire. Many people got affected by this infection and have recovered is well known to us. Fact is that those persons who got their vital organs damaged by this deadly virus passed away. The first wave, second wave and third wave of infection turned the lives of many people upside down. It is well known that many people are still struggling to make both ends meet. Vaccination against Coronavirus infection gained momentum slowly across the world and due to the fear of lives many persons got administered with vaccines. The intensity of this deadly infection has been reduced well now with just a few cases every day and normally has returned abck.
In this scenario, it is now mentioned that there might be one more Coronavirus infection wave due to a mutated form of Omicron virus. This was according to Dr. Sowmya Swaminathan, senior scientist, WHO. She spoke about how the transmission of XBB type Coronavirus would be fast and how it started to spread now. She concluded that there might be a possibility of another Coronavirus infection wave and how not much information was available regarding the intensity.
