At the St Thomas Mount in Chennai, there is an Army Officers Training Academy and this has grabbed the attention of many.
Many soldiers who have completed their training have performed some adventurous acts at this academy and it was sensational. The audiences were enthralled by the performances of these soldiers.
It is well known to us that the officers wishing to join Army, Navy and Airforce are being given training at this Army Officers Training Academy in Chennai. In addition, military officers belonging to the allied countries are also given training here. Yesterday, the training completion parade of the soldiers who have finished their training took place here. It is worthy to note that before the parade adventurous activities performed by the soldiers also took place.
Lieutenant General Sanjeev Chauhan participated as a special guest in the events yesterday. It must be noted that he is the chief of the Army Officers Training Academy. The programme began with gymnastic adventure and the martial arts of Gurkhas was performed by some soldiers.
The audience were amazed to see 25 soldiers together holding the National Flag on a 2 wheeler in the form of a pyramid. The performances of the soldiers with fire rings and adventurous acts of Sikh warriors etc drew loud applause. There was also a mindblowing musical performance by several instrumental groups. The Lieutenant General appreciated the performances of all those who took part in the adventurous activities. Some representatives belonging to the Nigerian National Defence Academy made their presence felt yesterday as special guests.
