After the recent rains, it has been noted that there has been no water stagnation in most subways and low-lying areas as they are being removed on the spot!
In Chennai Metro City, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) maintains and renovates 6 subways and the Department of Highways, 10 subwayAsAss such, following the recent rains, the Greater Chennai Corporation has informed that THERE HAS BEEN NO WATER STAGNATION IN ALL AREASINCLUDINE THE PLACES OF USUAL WATERSTAGNATION"
In this situation, the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects for very heavy rains in 8 districts in Tamil Nadu including Vellore and Thiruvallur!
It has been informed due to the cyclonic format prevailing in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Southwest Bay of Bengal adjacent to the Sri Lankan coastal area, there are prospects for widespread mild to medium rains with lightning and thunder in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikkal!
