One of the largest public sector banks in India is SBI or State Bank of India. It is well known to us that SBI provides several banking services for the public suich as savings account, loans, insurance plus others like trading accounts etc. Home loans, business loans and car loans are being provided by SBI to the public. How to set up an SBI ATM centre:
It must be noted that SBI has joined hands with Tata Indicash, Muthoot ATM and Indian One ATM etc to set up ATM centres. By applying through the official website of these 3 companies, a person could set up an ATM of SBI.
Eligibility conditions:
- To set up an ATM centre, the interested and aspiring person must have 50 to 80 sq ft of their own area.
- If there are ATMS of other banks near the area, then there must atleast a distance of 100m between those ATMs and the area of the person who is interested to set up SBI ATM
- Location where ATM would be set up must be easily visible for the public
- Interested persons must have a compulsory 24 hours power supply and minimum of 1KW electricity connection
- There must be permanent structures with brick walls and concrete in the location where ATM would be set up
- Must be capable of handling 300 transactions per day
- Compulsory presence of space in the front for parking of vehicles etc
- Obtaining NOC from the associations to install V-SAT for those who live in the community.
Various documents needed are:
ID proofs like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter Id etc. Address proofs like ration cards, electricity bills etc. Bank account and passbooks plus ploto email id and phone number etc. Other important documents and financial documents etc that would be required for SBI, GST number etc.
Those interested persons after getting the approval from SBI for setting up an ATM must pay Rs 2lakhs as security deposit while getting the license and Rs 3 lakhs as working capital. With an average of 300 to 500 transactions per day, the monthly income a person could get would be bebetween Rs 45000 to Rs 90000. The total investment for setting up an ATM would be Rs 5lakhs.
