The superb piece of news for the Chennai residents is that beginning from tomorrow that is 12th November there will be regular Vande Bharat service trains between Chennai and Mysore. Now, as many as 4 Vande Bharat trains with state of art facilities are being operated between various cities.
Today at 11am in Bangalore, PM of India Mr. Narendra Modi will be launching the 5th Vande Bharat train service. This train with state of art facilities has got 16 coaches and it could accommodate as many as 1128 passengers.
No operation on Wednesday:
From 12th November, Vande Bharat train would assume regular service from Chennai to Mysore for 6 days in a week and this indigenously constructed train won`t be operated on the Wednesdays.
It is noteworthy that the VNDE Bharat express train number20607 would start from chennai central at 5:50am and would reach Mysore at 12:20 pm. The train would halt at katpadi at 7:21 am and then at KSR Bangalore at 10:20am.
Ticket bookings:
The ticket bookings for Vande Bharat trains have started now and there won`t be any discount for travelling in this train. In the opposite direction the train would depart Mysore at 1:05 pm in the afternoon and it would reach Chennai Central at 7:30 pm on the same day. The train would halt at Bangalore at 2:55 pm and then at Katpadi at 5:36 pm. It is now said that other terms and conditions for Vande Bharat trains would be just similar to that of Shatabdi trains.
This Vande Bharat train would be south India`s first Vande Bharat express train and the train would improve the traffic in Chennai, Bangalore and Mysore.
Ticket rates:
For Chennai Central to Mysore a/c seater car, the ticket would be Rs 1200. It is worthy to mention that for a/c special coach the ticket would be Rs 2295.
