Prithvi II successfully test-fired

India’s first nuclear weapons-capable Prithvi II surface-to-surface missile with a strike range of 350km from a test range at Chandipur,Odisha coast, on Monday.
Prithvi is capable of carrying 500kg to 1000kg of payload and is thrusted by liquid propulsion twin engines, defence sources said,adding the missile uses advanced inertial guidance system with manoeuvring trajectory.
