Rains have gone and for some days just dry weather only in Chennai and TN

With the increase in the temperature in TN, there will be dry weather till 18t December in the state. It is known that a few days back Chennai and its neighbouring districts like Chengalpet, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur etc received heavy rains. Next week, a low pressure area would form over the Bay Of Bengal and it would bring rains in the state. This was mentioned by the meteorological dept.
There would be dry weather for the next 5 days in TN as no system has formed over the sea. This was according to Mr. Senthamarai Kannan, RMC, Chennai. He added that the isolated places in the state would receive light to moderate rains because moderate easterlies and northeasterlies prevail over the region at the lower tropospheric level.
Mr. Pradeep John, weatherman of TN mentioned that the rains would further reduce to south TN and some parts in the western TN. He made it clear that for the next few days till 18th December the weather in Tn would be dry. This would be due to the dragging away of the moisture and due to the high pressure in the next few days. Fishermen have been advised not to go into the sea till 18th December.
