Nasa is now giving up its attempts to rectify the Kepler space telescope, the team is unable to put back kepler to full working condition and are thinking in what ways kepler can carry research in its prevailing condition. Kepler which cost  £ 395 million was launched on the space on March 2009 with a sole mission to find out earth sized planets where life for humans is possible.

Kepler so far has done a great job by identifying 135 planets beyond the solar system. This observatory has found out more “super earths” (bigger earths) and the scientists are quite confident that soon they will discover further planets which will have similar condition like earth.

More earth like planets will be identified in the coming years as many missions are ready to come.
