Super news!! Inauguration of Thiru Vi Ka Nagar Park in Shenoy Nagar in Chennai for public use!!

The CM of Tamil Nadu Mr. MK. Stalin became the cynosure of many eyes yesterday when he inaugurated the Shenoy Nagar based Thiru Vi Ka Park. It is known that this park has been renovated by the CMRL at a cost of Rs 18 crores with the financial support from Chennai Metropolitan Development Corporation.
For the metro rail construction works, certain parts of this park were removed by CMRL. As the metro works have completed, CMRL has renovated this park at a cost of Rs 18 cr. The park was opened for the public use yesterday evening by the chief minister.
Various superb facilities present in this park are continuous footpaths, skating rink, badminton hall, basketball hall, beach volleyball hall, cricket net practice facility, open air gym, kids playground etc. The park has also got very rare species of trees taken and planted here from other places. There are now 5400 trees in the park. There are 2 suvar chithirangal or murals of freedom fighter Mr. V. Kalyana Sundaranar painted on the walls here to showcase his contribution in the freedom struggle and Tamil literature etc.
Others who made their presence felt yesterday were Chennai Mayor Priya and ministers like Mr. Sekarbabu & Mr. KN. Nehru etc.
