Today, Monday, there is a potential for light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in various locations within Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
Furthermore, there is a chance of heavy rain occurring in one or two places within the following districts: Salem, Dharmapuri, Kallakurichi, Thiruvannamalai, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, and Namakkal.
On September 19, similar weather conditions are anticipated, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms expected in parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
From September 20 to September 21, the weather outlook continues to indicate the possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in scattered areas across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
Looking ahead, from September 22nd to September 24th, the Chennai Meteorological Department forecasts the potential for light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in select regions of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
For Chennai, the upcoming 48 hours are expected to bring generally cloudy conditions. Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, may occur in certain parts of the city. Temperature-wise, the maximum is projected to reach around 35-36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is expected to be around 26-27 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department.
