Effective from Monday, October 23, there will be a notable alteration in the schedule of the Vande Bharat train service running from Chennai Central to Coimbatore. The Southern Railway, in a press release issued on Friday, announced the following adjustments:
The Vande Bharat train, which typically departs from Chennai Central at 2.15 pm, will now arrive 10 minutes earlier starting from Monday, October 23. This change is attributed to an increase in the train`s speed between Salem and Tirupur.
As a result, the updated arrival times at key stations are as follows:
- Salem: Revised to 5.48 (previously 5.58)
- Erode: Revised to 6.37 (previously 6.47)
- Tirupur: Revised to 7.18 (previously 7.35)
Due to this schedule modification, it is important to note that the Tirupati-Bangalore Express train (Train No: 22617) will reach Jolarpet 10 minutes later than its usual schedule. Likewise, the Tirupati-Villupuram Express train (Train No: 16853) will arrive at Katpadi 5 minutes later than its regular timing. Please take this information into account when planning your journeys.
