Here comes a superb piece of news for the devotees of Lord Iyappan!!
The MD of Express Transport Corporation Mr. K. Elangovan confirmed that special buses would be operated from tomorrow onwards on the occasion of Mandala Puja at Sabarimala Swami Ayyappan Temple.
It was brought out by the press release that every year at the famous temple of Lord. Iyappan in Sabarimala in Kerala state makara vilakku and mandala puja festivals would take place. For the transportation of Lord Iyappan devotees from TN special buses are being operated by the State Express Transport Corporation from major cities.
The release mentioned that in this year also from tomorrow 16th of November to 16th of January ultra modern luxury buses and buses with non-condition with seats would be operated by the State Express Transport Corporation from places like Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, Pondicherry, Cuddalore etc to Pambai.
The Sabarimala devasthanam has announced earlier that special buses would not be operated from 26th December to 29th December as the temple would be opened from 27th to 30th from 5pm. For the pilgrims going in groups, bus facilities would be provided.
It is learnt that the facility for booking special buses30 days in advance could be made through website www.tnstc.in and through the TNSTC app. For any further detail, the devotees could contact the numbers 94450 14452, 94450 14424, 94450 14463 and 94450 14416 etc.
