In anticipation of the upcoming Northeast monsoon, Chennai Metrowater has initiated 24-hour helplines (1916 and 044-45674567) for residents to report water supply and sewage disposal issues. A press release stated that 2,149 field workers are actively involved in maintaining water and sewer infrastructure. This move aims to streamline complaint resolution and ensure swift response to residents` concerns during the monsoon season.
