The second term of the academic year is currently underway in schools, with the half-yearly or second term examinations scheduled to take place in December.
In this context, the Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has officially released the timetable for the half-yearly examinations.
Furthermore, the Department of School Education has emphasized that all schools in the State of Tamil Nadu must adhere to the same question paper for the subjects, and the half-yearly examinations must be conducted according to the released timetable.
The half-yearly examinations are scheduled for students from the 6th Standard to the 10th Standard, taking place from December 11th to December 21st. For students in the 11th and 12th Standards (+1 & +2), the examinations will be conducted from December 7th to December 22nd.
Additionally, the Department of School Education of the Tamil Nadu State Government has declared the half-yearly vacation, with schools set to reopen after the vacation on January 2, 2024.
As per the announcement, an 11-day vacation is declared for students from the 6th Standard to the 10th Standard, while a 10-day vacation is declared for students in the 11th and 12th Standards.
