In a recent notification, the South Central Railway has outlined significant changes to the train services in the Guntakal and Vijayawada Divisions from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023, owing to a rolling corridor block. Passengers are advised to take note of the following alterations:
Full Cancellations:
1. Train No. 17237 Bitragunta – Dr MGR Chennai Central Express (Bitragunta to Dr MGR Chennai Central) from November 27th to December 1st, 2023.
2. Train No. 17238 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Bitragunta Express (Dr MGR Chennai Central to Bitragunta) from November 27th to December 1st, 2023.
3. Train No. 07659 Tirupati – Katpadi Passenger Special from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023.
4. Train No. 07582 Katpadi – Tirupati Passenger Special from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023.
5. Train No. 06417 Katpadi – Jolarpettai MEMU Express Special from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023.
6. Train No. 06418 Jolarpettai – Katpadi MEMU Express Special from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023.
7. Train No. 06401 Arakkonam – Cuddapah MEMU Special Express from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023.
8. Train No. 06402 Cuddapah - Arakkonam MEMU Special Express from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023.
Partial Cancellations:
1. Train No. 16854 Villupuram – Tirupati Express from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023, partially cancelled between Katpadi and Tirupati. The train will be short terminated at Katpadi.
2. Train No. 16853 Tirupati – Villupuram Express from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023, partially cancelled between Tirupati and Katpadi. The train will commence service from Katpadi at its scheduled departure time of 16.35 hrs.
Diversion of Train Services:
1. Train No. 22643 Ernakulam - Patna Bi-Weekly Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam at 17.20 hrs on November 27th, 2023, will be diverted via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram, and Nidadavolu.
2. Train No. 12509 SMVT Bengaluru – Guwahati Superfast Express (running via Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Perambur) leaving SMVT Bengaluru at 23.40 hrs on November 29th and December 1st, 2023, will be diverted to run via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram, and Nidadavolu.
3. Train No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, and Vijayawada skipping stoppages at Tadepalligudem and Eluru.
4. Train No. 12376 Jasidih – Tambaram Superfast Express on n November 29th, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, and Vijayawada skipping stoppage at Eluru.
5. Train No. 22837 Hatia - Ernakulam Dharti Aba Express on November 27th, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, and Vijayawada skipping stoppage at Eluru.
6. Train No. 18637 Hatia – SMVT Bengaluru Express on December 2nd, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
7. Train No. 12835 Hatia – SMVT Bengaluru Superfast Express (running via Katpadi, Jolarpettai) on November 28th and December 3rd, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
8. Train No. 12889 Tatanagar - SMVT Bengaluru Superfast Express (running via Katpadi, Jolarpettai) on December 1st, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada.
9. Train No. 16381 Pune – Kanniyakumari Express from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023, will be diverted to run via Gooty, Dharmavaram, and Pakala skipping stoppages at Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Kadappa, Razampeta, Koduru, Renigunta, and Tirupati.
10. Train No. 16382 Kanniyakumari – Pune Express from November 27th to December 3rd, 2023, will be diverted to run via Pakala, Dharmavaram, Gooty skipping stoppages at Tirupati, Renigunta, Koduru, Razampeta, Kadappa, Yerraguntla, and Tadipatri.
11. Train No. 16733 Rameswaram – Okha Express on December 1st, 2023, will be diverted to run via Jolarpettai, Melpakkam, Renigunta skipping stoppage at Tirupati.
12. Train No. 09519 Madurai – Okha Express on December 1st, 2023, will be diverted to run via Katpadi, Pakala, Dharmavaram, Gooty skipping stoppages at Renigunta, Kadapa, Yerraguntla, and Tadipatri.
