New postage stamp released regarding eradication of childhood cancer!!

The Indian postal Dept has associated with the famous Apollo Hospitals and have released a postage stamp titled Eradication of Childhood Cancer. This postage stamp release function took place at the head post office located on Anna Salai in Chennai. On behalf of Apollo Cancer Hospital about 60000 stamps were issued. The stamp has a child`s face and QR code attached.
It was mentioned by the postmaster general Sridevi that it was a powerful step in the global war against childhood cancer. She hoped that this superb initiative would be a great inspiration across the world.
