Orange alert issued to the Delta districts and Southern districts!

An `Orange` alert has been issued for the southern and delta districts in Tamil Nadu.
The Indian Meteorological Centre (IMD) has informed that due to the cyclonic formation prevailing in the layers of the atmosphere over the Southeast Bay of Bengal, there are prospects for heavy to very heavy rains in 1 or 2 places today (Saturday, 16th December) and tomorrow (Sunday, 17th December).
Accordingly, there are prospects for heavy rains today (Saturday, 16th December) in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Thoothukkudi, Ramanathapuram, Pudhukkottai, and Sivagangai, and prospects for heavy rains in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Kanyakumari, Thirunelveli, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagappattinam, Madurai, Mayiladuthurai, and Virudhunagar.
There are prospects for heavy to very heavy rains tomorrow (Sunday, 17th December) in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagappattinam, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudhukkottai, Ramanathapuram, Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi, and Kanyakumari. There are prospects for heavy rains tomorrow (Sunday, 17th December) in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Villupuram, Thenkasi, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Sivagangai, Trichy, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Kallakkurichi, Karur, Theni, and Dindigul Districts.
There are prospects for heavy rains on the 18th of December in the districts of Kanyakumari, Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi, Ramanathapuram, Pudhukkottai, and Thanjavur.
There are prospects for heavy rains on 19th December in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Kanyakumari, Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi, and Ramanathapuram.
