The State Government Examination Board has announced that private candidates wishing to participate in the public examinations for the 10th, 11th, and 12th Standards can apply online starting from the 27th of December.
Details of the notifications released by the Director of the Government Examination Board, Sethurama Varma, on Friday (yesterday, 22nd December) are as follows:
"The Public Examinations for the 10th, 11th, & 12th Standards (+1 & +2) under the Tamil Nadu State Government Syllabus are scheduled to be conducted in March and April next year.
Applications are invited from private candidates interested in writing the above Public Examinations.
All categories of candidates, including those who took the 11th Standard Public Examinations, whether passed or failed, those unable to attend the examinations, and candidates wishing to rewrite the 12th Standard (+2) Public Examinations, can apply.
Interested candidates can personally visit the State Government Examination Board Service centers from the 27th of December until the 10th of January, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, to apply online.
Alternatively, candidates can also apply on a Tatkal basis on the 11th and 12th of January by paying the examination fees, including an additional fee of Rs. 1000/- for +1 & +2 (11th & 12th Standards) and a special fee of Rs. 500/- for the 10th Standard Public Examination.
Candidates interested in accessing details regarding private candidates` guidance, service centers set up in each district for this purpose, and the procedure for applying online can do so."
