Operating the delayed Kilambakkam bus terminus - CMDA appoints BVG India Pvt Ltd!!

To operate and maintain the much delayed Kilambakkam bus terminus in Chennai, CMDA has appointed a single concessionaire Pune based BVG India Pvt Ltd. It is known that this Pune based company is responsible for maintaining SEVERAL metro stations in Chennai plus it is also the housekeeping partners for Rastrapathi Bhavan, SC and airport domestic terminal in Chennai.
Information collected is that this move would provide quality services to the bus passengers plus it would maintain the premises on par with the best in India. It is really amazing to mention here that the new bus terminus at Kilambakkam would have many coffee shops plus food chains and eateries etc.
It was later mentioned by an officer that revenue from 108 shops, parking and entry fee, ads etc would be used to maintain the terminus on par with the best. It was pointed out by Mr. Anantharaman, AGM south, BVG India Pvt Ltd that the company has been maintaining ISBT in Delhi and few in India etc. Truth is that the new bus terminus at Kilambakkam would be constructed on par with the airport.
