Important Announcement!! Payment of exam fees for TN class 12 students through online mode is possible now!!

The examination fees for the class 12 board exams can be paid through online mode and this was announced by DGE or Directorate of Government Examinations. Information gathered is that the fees for the students have been allotted as Rs 225 and Rs 175 by DGE.
There is some good news for the students who would be writing the board exam with Tamil as the medium of instruction. These students are exempted from paying the examination fees and this was mentioned in the departmental circular. The circular added that the visually impaired, hearing impaired students etc have been exempted from paying their examination fees for the 3 categories of differently able students. In addition, SC, ST and SCA students who are studying in the govt and govt aided schools in TN have also been exempted from paying their exam fees.
From 26th March till 8th of April 2024, board examinations for class 10 students would take place. From 4th March to 25th March 2024, board exams for class 11 students would be taking place. From 1st March till 22nd March 2024, board exams for class 12 students would be held.
