The National Council for Teachers` Education (NCTE) has declared that, starting from the upcoming academic year, colleges will no longer be authorized to provide 2-year B.Ed. degree programs. Instead, institutions will be granted approval exclusively for 4-year Integrated B.Ed. courses.

The 2-year B.Ed. program is presently undergoing a transformation into a 4-year curriculum, encompassing special education, effective from the academic year 2023-24. This initiative by the National Council for Teachers` Education aligns with the implementation of new training courses in accordance with the latest National Education Policy.

Colleges intending to initiate and offer 4-year B.Ed. degree programs are encouraged to submit applications once the University Portal becomes accessible.
