The State Government of Tamil Nadu has recently decided to conduct monthly grievance meetings on drinking water issues in every ward. With these regular meetings, citizens can avail themselves of all the benefits of the current drinking water distribution system.
This month`s Grievance Meeting on Drinking Water Issues is scheduled to be held in Chennai Metro City on the 10th of February (Saturday), tomorrow. The meeting will take place at the offices of the Zonal Assistant Commissioners of the Department of Public Distribution in Chennai Metro City.
The meeting is scheduled to run from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM across 19 zones on the 10th of February (Saturday). During this meeting, services such as corrections in ration cards, including additions or deletions of names, changes of address or cell phone numbers, etc., will be available to facilitate the public attending the meeting.
Exemption approval certificates will be provided for senior citizens who are unable to visit ration shops personally.
Additionally, citizens with complaints regarding the public distribution system of Fair Price Shops or the private sector market can register them during this grievance meeting.
