The news that has come out now is that following the recruitment of graduate teachers as many as 1768 secondary vacancies would be filled up directly. This was announced by the TRB or teachers recruitment board. The application forms for this can be downloaded by online process from 14th February to 15th March. It is brought out that the written examination would be held on 23rd June.
The CM of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin has been paying extra attention towards the school education sector is known to us. He has ordered the authorities regarding the removal of existing issues in the school education dept and ordered to improve the school education department. Many measures are being taken by the school education minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and mr. Kumaragurubaran, dept secretary. Decision was taken to fill up the existing vacancies and steps are being taken to fill the vacant teaching posts. The graduate teaching vacancies were being filled up and now a notification has come out about filling up secondary teaching posts.
It is now mentioned that the candidates who wish to take part in the competitive exam must have written and passed the TET paper 1 examination. In June, a competitive examination would be conducted. It must be noted that the examination would have 150 questions and 150 marks would be awarded.
The candidates belonging to open category must secure 60marks or 40% candidates belonging to BC, PCM, MBC, SC, ST and SCA etc would have to secure 45marks or atleast 30%. Action would be taken against those candidates who provide wrong information. The vacancies would be filled up in a transparent manner.
Those candidates who have completed 53 years of age in July 2024 would be eligible to apply under general category and up to 58 years under reserved category.
