The day, all the class 12 students, parents and teachers etc in TN have been waiting anxiously, has come now!!
From today, 1st of March 2024 onwards, public examinations would be held for the plus two school students across Tamil Nadu. Today, examinations would be held for Tamil and other languages papers.
From 7534 schools across Tamil Nadu, as many as 7.72 lakhs students would be appearing for the plus two public examinations. In addition, there would also be 21875 private students plus others like 125 prisoners, transgender persons. Across TN, there would be as many as 3302 examination centres where the students would be writing their public examinations.
As many as 43200 teachers would be engaged as room monitors. To check the malpractices, 4335 fixed as well as mobile flying squads would be doing their work. Under the leadership of district collector, principal education officer and Revenue dept officers etc, special monitoring teams have been formed.
Students must compulsorily follow the rules given in their hall tickets. Strict action would be taken against students who indulge in activities like impersonating, copying answers from other students etc. It is learnt that such students would be debarred from appearing for the public exams for a maximum of 3 year or permanent debarment from writing their exams.
