Chennai Metro Records 86.82 Lakh Passengers in March 2024
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) proudly announces a significant milestone in its service as it records a remarkable 86.82 lakh passengers traveling in March 2024.
CMRL has long been committed to providing the people of Chennai with safe, efficient, and reliable transportation. From March 1 to March 31, 2024, a total of 86,82,457 passengers have utilized the Metro Trains, reflecting the trust and reliance placed in CMRL`s services.
This notable achievement follows a consistent upward trend in passenger flow. Notably, March 2024 witnessed an increase of 67,449 passengers compared to February 2024. In January, 84,63,384 passengers, and in February, 86,15,008 passengers availed themselves of Metro Train services.
March 4, 2024, marked the highest passenger flow for the month, with 3,34,710 passengers benefiting from CMRL`s services.
In an effort to further enhance passenger convenience, CMRL is pleased to announce a 20% discount on all ticketing options, including Metro Travel Cards, Mobile QR Code ticketing (Single, Return, Group Tickets, and QR Trip passes), as well as booking options through CMRL Whatsapp Ticketing System (+91 83000 86000), Paytm, and PhonePe.
