The sensational news that has come out now is that in the TN state run schools the government`s free coaching for competitive examinations like NEET or National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, JEE or Joint Entrance Examination etc have started now.
It is known to us that the DMK government has strictly opposed NEET. Truth is that the school education department has made sure that the medical aspirants studying in the government schools across TN must get free coaching for NEET till the examination get scrapped.

The free coaching for the govt school students in TN has started and this was mentioned by the director of school education G. Arivoli. In 2023, about 25000 students received free coaching for NEET and this was according to another senior officer belonging to the school education dept.
According to an official it was very clear that all the medical aspirants in TN govt schools must be trained ill NEET is abolished. He added that a committee headed by CEO com comprising experts in the subject has been formed in each district. Information is that based on the teaching skills the teachers for free coaching would get selected.
