The Chennai residents in this June month have got huge relief from the scorching heat due to the rains. It is now revealed that Chennai received the highest amount of rainfall in June and this is the highest in the last 2 decades. Nungambakkam in south Chennai received 22.5 cm of rain in June. The monthly average of rains in Nungambakkam is just 6cm is known. In 2023, Nungambakkam received 21cms of rain in the month of June.
