The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the recruitment of 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilots across all zonal railways. The application period runs from January 20, 2024, to February 19, 2024. Modification Window Extended
Applicants can modify their submissions from July 29, 2024, to August 7, 2024, through the official RRB website, www.rrbapply.gov.in.
Eligibility Criteria
• Age Limit: 18-30 years as of July 1, 2024, with age relaxations for specific groups.
• Qualifications: Matriculation / SSLC, ITI from NCVT/SCVT institutions, or a 3-year diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering.
Physical & Medical Requirements
• Medical Standard: A1
• Vision: Distant Vision: 6/6 (unaided), Near Vision: 0.6/0.6 (unaided)
Selection Process
• Computer-Based Test I & II
• Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
• Document Verification and Medical Examination
Salary Structure
• Basic Pay: Rs. 19,900 (Level 2 as per 7th CPC)
• Total Gross Pay: Rs. 26,752
• Net Salary: Rs. 24,904
