Chennai Koyambedu Market: Stable Veg Prices, Major Shifts in Garlic and Mangoes!

Prices for essential vegetables at Chennai`s Koyambedu Wholesale Market have remained stable this month. Onions are priced at Rs 38 per kg, tomatoes at Rs 25 per kg, potatoes at Rs 45 per kg, and coconuts at Rs 30 per kg.
Garlic, which was Rs 250 per kg at the start of August, increased to Rs 280 on August 7 but has remained at that price since.
Drumstick prices, which rose to Rs 190 per kg in July, have dropped significantly to Rs 30 per kg as of August 7.
Peas, priced at Rs 250 per kg on July 24, fell to Rs 140 per kg today from a previous rate of Rs 150 per kg on August 1.
Raw mangoes have seen a price surge this month, reaching Rs 80 per kg from Rs 50 per kg on August 7, up from Rs 30 per kg in July.
