The 2nd World Tamil Language Development and Research Conference will be held on August 12-13 at Vivekananda Hall, Anna University, Chennai. The event is organized by the Chennai Development Corporation and Anna University`s Tamil Development Center. It will feature Tamil Nadu Ministers K. Ponmudi, S. Raghupathi, M.P. Saminathan, M. Subramanian, Senji Mastan, and Anbil Mahes Poiyamozhi. The conference will be chaired by Anna University Vice-Chancellor R. Velraj.
Notable attendees include VIT University Chancellor G. Viswanathan, Thanjavur Tamil University Vice-Chancellor V. Thiruvalluvan, and Tamil Nadu Open University Vice-Chancellor S. Arumugam. Senior Tamil scholars such as Sundharamurthy, K.V. Balasubramaniam, and Abdul Khader will also participate.
The conference will focus on research related to scientific, legal, medical, and AI applications of Tamil.
