Madras-Thiruvallur Road is making the lives of many motorists difficult!!
There are many blue barricades placed by CMRL or Chennai Metro Rail Limited in many places now in Chennai city for the metro rail construction works.
Now, the latest issue is that barricades placed at MTH Road or Madras- Thiruvallur Road junction have been blocking the view of the vehicles from both the sides. That is from the Padi Bridge to New Avadi Road and from MTH Road towards Padi Bridge. This is now making the lives of many motorists difficult here.
It was then brought out by a commuter that while coming from Padi Bridge and taking the New Avadi Road there is a barricade now at the junction. He threw light on how the lives of many motorists were at huge risk as a particular barricade has been protruding. He added that the motorists were unable to view the vehicles that were coming from the MTH Road towards the Padi Bridge.
Bitter truth is that there are more chances of speeding vehicles colliding with one another in this important stretch if the view remains blocked. Many now want CMRL to change the barricade placement before any unwanted accidents take place.
Finally, an officer from CMRL has made it clear that the blue barricade would be removed soon to prevent any accident in the future.
