A common health issue that has affected many people across the world is insulin resistance. The bitter fact is that if this issue is not managed well then it could lead to more serious health issues also later on. These days, a sedentary based lifestyle has become very common and many now have been finding ways to keep their blood sugar levels in control.
What is insulin resistance?
It must be noted that insulin resistance occurs when the cells present in muscles, fat and liver etc don`t respond well to insulin and can`t easily take up glucose from blood. Pancreas would make more insulin to help glucose enter into the cells.

Methi seeds intake:
After waking up in the morning, it is a must to consume methi seeds for the sake of insulin resistance. Firstly, we must soak methi seeds in water overnight and strain them. Next, we must drink methi soaked water. Intake of methi seeds would improve insulin sensitivity and lower blood sugar levels by enhancing glucose metabolism. Inflammation would be reduced.
Cinnamon tea intake:
It is superb to drink cinnamon tea instead of regular milk based tea. For that, we must boil 2 cinnamon sticks in 300ml of water and strain. Intake of cinnamon tea would improve insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake in cells. This would lead to reduced blood sugar levels. There would be improved insulin function.
Soaked nuts intake:
It is believed that intake of soaked nuts would improve insulin sensitivity in us. Hence, we must soak nuts like walnuts or almonds etc in water and consume them after waking up in the morning. The nuts have healthy fats, antioxidants and fibres etc and these would lower the inflammation and improve insulin resistance.
Amla shots intake:
Intake of amla shots would improve the insulin sensitivity and lower oxidative stress. Here, vitamin C and antioxidants present in amla play a huge role. This would lead to better glucose metabolism.
Aloe vera extract intake:
Insulin sensitivity in us would get better by consuming aloe vera extract in an empty stomach. Glucose uptake by the cells would get enhanced and inflammation would get reduced.
