Rains till 1st September in TN!!

The westerly winds are blowing towards TN with variable speeds now. As a result of this, there might be light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning from 28th of August to 1st of September in TN.
In Chennai, the sky would be partially cloudy and in few places there will be light to moderate rains with lightning and thunder.
In the last 24hours that ended at 8:30am yesterday morning, Panthalur in Nilgiris district recorded maximum rains of 7cm. Point is that 3cm of rain was recorded in Devala, Woodbriar estate etc. Gudalur market, Gudalur and Krishnagiri districts KRP dam recorded 1cm of rain each. There was 1cm of rain in Siruvani in Coimbatore district.
