Weather Update: New Low Pressure Area Expected in Bay of Bengal!

The Chennai Meteorological Department has announced that a new low pressure area is likely to develop in the Bay of Bengal by September 5.
According to the department, an atmospheric circulation is currently observed over Andhra Pradesh and neighboring regions. This weather pattern is expected to lead to the formation of a low pressure area over the Midwest and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal.
As a result, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is anticipated in various parts of Tamil Nadu today (September 3) and tomorrow (September 4), particularly in Puducherry and Karaikal.
