Red Hills Traffic Investigation Wing Relocates to New Premises for Improved Accessibility!
The Red Hills Traffic Investigation Wing (TIW) under the Avadi City Commissionerate has relocated to new premises following feedback from both the public and police personnel.
Since January 2023, the Red Hills TIW had been operating out of the Madhavaram Milk Colony Police Station. However, starting from Thursday, September 5, the unit will now function from the police quarters on PWD Office Street in Red Hills.
Avadi City Commissioner K. Shankar had reviewed public feedback, which highlighted that traveling to the Madhavaram Milk Colony Police Station for traffic investigation cases from Red Hills and nearby areas was time-consuming. Police personnel also experienced delays in reaching accident scenes due to the previous location.
The new premises were inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) V. Anbu on Thursday.
