Aavin plans to increase the sales of its products for the festivals like Diwali and Ayudha Pujai!!
Festivals like diwali and Ayudha puja are fast approaching now. People are getting ready to celebrate these important festivals with sweets etc.
This year during deepavali and Ayudha puja festivals, Aavin is planning to increase the sales of its products like ghee and sweets by 20% to 30%.
It is well known to us that for many years Aavin has been selling milk and milk products to the people. Through its 27 unions across TN, Aavin has been preparing more than 200 products like butter, ghee, curd, palgova etc and selling them through its Aavin parlours and retailers etc.
In this scenario, Aavin has decided to increase the sales of sweets and milk products during the upcoming festivals like diwali and Ayudha puja.
The MD of Aavin company, Mr. S. Vineeth, explained that on behalf of the company dairy products like butter, ghee, palgova, lassi, buttermilk, yoghurt and ice creams etc are produced and sold through Aavin parlours and retailers etc. In addition, steps have been taken to prepare and sell sweets/snacks during the festival period.
In 2023, during the festival season, 480 tonnes of ghee was sold by Aavin Company. Now in 2014, Aavin has fixed a target of 580 tonnes of ghee. The MD of Aavin concluded that Aavin is having plans to bring special sweets belonging to each district to Chennai and other cities and sell them to the customers.
