Great news regarding the inclusion of differently able students in the Kalai Thiruvizha festival 2024 in TN!!
Differently able persons also have the rights to enjoy and feel happy just similar to the normal persons and all are equal!!
The superb news is that the differently able students studying in the government schools and government aided schools across TN have been allowed to take part in the cultural activities.
Important piece of information is that the School Education Department has extended the Kalai Thiruvizha festival to the differently able students also. Fantastic, isn`t it!!
A circular has come out from the School Education Dept and as per the circular it was clear that all students belonging to the government as well as government aided schools (including special schools) would be given opportunity to participate in the Kalai Thiruvizha Festival.
It must be taken into account that the school principals belonging to the special schools have been given instructions regarding making necessary preparations to make the students of special schools participate. By 27th of September, the school level events would come to a close. This was according to the school education dept. Point is that after the school level events the winners list would be uploaded to the EMIS or Education Management Information Systems portal. It must be noted that kalai thiruvizha for the current academic year is being conducted now for all the classes from 1 to 12.
