Airlines lining up more flights, air travel to increase in this summer season in Chennai!!

In this regard, people these days fly to many holiday destinations with their families and friends to have fun and relaxation and to get relief from tough work pressure. Air travel usually peaks in the month of December, that is during the Christmas and New Year vacations and after that air travel peaks during the summer season.
It must be recalled that the Chennai airport in the month of February handled 4.7lakh international passengers and 14 lakhs domestic passengers. It is now said that this number would increase in April and in May. To ease the congestion at the international terminal at the Chennai airport, the AAI or Airport Authority of India would open more check-in counters.
Important piece of information is that compared to the winter season in December the airlines have added 200 more flights to destinations across India and abroad for the summer season. People would be able to visit places such as Delhi Goa, Guwahati, Varanasi, Madurai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Jaffna, Colombo, Kuwait and Muscat.
This is April month and the temperatures are already high. People are finding it tough in Chennai is a known fact. Chennaites are trying to escape from the scorching heat and humidity by planning to go to other places with their families and friends etc. It must be noted that the airfares have not increased till now unlike December.
