The news that has come out now is that Trichy City Corporation has passed a resolution on Friday naming the Integrated Bus Terminus or IBT after former CM of TN, Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi bus terminus, Truck Terminus after former CM of TN Mr. C.N. Annadurai and Vegetable market after Periyar or Mr. E.V. Ramaswamy.
According to the Trichy City Corporation Mayor, Mr. Anbalagan, the new IBT would be inaugurated by the chief minister of TN Mr. M.K. Stalin on 9th of May.
Important piece of info is that the CM would lay the foundation for the truck terminus and vegetable market plus would distribute housing patta to the residents residing on the poramboke land belonging to the government.
