2-seater sports car launched by Mercedes

A two-seater sports car at a cost of Rs 1.3 crore was launched in India by Mercedes. The 5.5-litre V8 petrol SLK 55 AMG will cost at Rs 1.26 crore (ex-showroom). It is the eighth car for the Indian market from the Mercedes Benz stable in 2013. The SLK AMG reaches 0-100 km/hr in 4.6 seconds and delivers a top speed of 250 km/ hour. It gives a mileage of 11.9 kilometres per litre of petrol and comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission. This is Mercedes Benz`s third AMG launch in the Indian market in 2013 after G 63 and E 63.
