Chennai New Year Celebration- 18 Thousand Police Assembled
In order to welcome
the New Year 2014, several celebration events are going to get furnished in
Chennai. Arrangements for the same are in process. Several cultural events are
planned to perform in start hotels, Farmhouses, Resorts and clubs. The police department has put restriction in
these kinds of activities.
In course of the New
Year celebration, people will gather near the east cost of beach and Marina Beach,
and share their New Year wishes to one another.In order to avoid bike race,
wheeling, crossing limit with women and drinking events, Chennai police is
planned to take jolt actions.
Under the order of
Commissioner, George, an additional police group of 50 police was arranged
under the chief of Commissioner Thamarai Kannan and RajeshDas. This police will wander in the highly crowded
public areas near beach, temple and entertainment centers to monitor the
drunken people who is creating problem with the ladies and pick pocket and the thieves
in the temple areas.
The police has
announced to the public that: Severe jolt actions will be taken on the people
who is crossing the limit and creating problem to ladies and the public during
New Year celebrations.
