A study published in the journal Preventive Medicine says that one should not sit still. Even small actions such as fidgeting are helpful in fighting the adverse impacts on health due to sitting for a long time. The study was conducted by researchers at the University of Leeds and UCL.

Researchers said that findings have shown that small actions while sitting are beneficial to our health. They also feel that there should be further research on the topic as things such as fidgeting or lack of concentration are considered rude behaviour.
