The fact is the by sprinkling salt, the taste of the fruit doubles. Sprinkling salt helps prevent the growth of the micro-germs and bacterias in the fruits and helps keep fruits fresh.
Salt functions as a cleanser, So, when the fruits are kept in salt water for some time, the insecticides and other chemicals on the fruit are removed.
Many fruits such as lemon, orange, and grapes create more acidity in the stomach. However, sprinkling salt before taking them neutralizes the acid generated in the stomach and prevents any digestion problems.
