A study published in PLOS Medicine says that potatoes are the most fatty vegetables, followed by sweet corn and peas, and that these should be avoided for weight loss. The study was conducted by researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health.
The scientists studied the dietary information of more than 130,000 men and women from the US. These participants gave information about their TV watching, exercising and smoking habits. Their weight was noted down regularly.
The results also showed that brown rice and wholemeal bread are ideal for weight loss.
