Many a times you feel perplexed thinking of what makes you put on weight. To all those thinking of it, here is the answer - the snack you munch on amidst your work hours is to be blamed. Snacks like bajji, bonda, egg puffs, samosa, etc that you choke down during your free time contain high calorie content.
 
Those who are indulged in sedentary works tend to eat such snacks and continue their work sitting in the same place. Hence these calories never get burnt and accumulate as fat deposits. This at last gives rise to increased weight. Maida, oil, and fried items will largely increase blood sugar and fat in our body. It is best to completely avoid these three items.
 
Note that a single samosa that goes well with a cup of tea contains 200 to 250 calories. This is more or less the calorie requirement for half a day. This will increase your tummy fat. Importantly, those working for long hours in computer and others who have sedentary work habits need to completely avoid oily items. Below is a list of items you ought to avoid amidst your food

Kachori - avoid eating kachori that is deep fried in oil. Whatever is the dish prepared by deep frying, you can blindly avoid it and say No, especially during the evening

Bajji and bonda - yes, it will be definitely tasty and lip smacking to munch on bajji or bonda along with evening tea or coffee. Particularly, working men prefer having those during a stressful evening. Keep in mind that you will get a puffy tummy similar to the puffy bajji you eat

There are a few who love eating sweets like Jilebi, Jangri, etc. This will not just add fat content in your body, but also increase blood sugar level

Seva and boondhi - these are harmful to health too. All snacks are good as long as you eat it limited. When you cross limits, it will naturally give rise to health troubles

Panipuri - the problem with panipuri lies with where it is sold. This is the most unhealthy and unhygienic food served in our country. Homemade food will do no harm to our health, but those we have alongside roads will do maximum harm to our health
 
It is always best to avoid such food items while drinking coffee or tea or amidst your work hours. Those who are unable to stop eating these can at least try to reduce the quantity you eat.
