Used in biosynthesis of proteins, lysine is an alpha amino acid not produced in our body and must be supplied by certain foods. It is known that lysine could treat cold sores, could lower our anxiety, could absorb calcium etc. The healing of wounds in us is promoted by lysine by creating collagen. Hence lysine must be consumed by us for our health to be good. There are many foods that contain this lysine. These foods must be consumed without fail.

White beans:
Also called as navy beans or haricot etc, white beans have lots of amino acids in them especially lysine. Hence the intake of white beans is superb. White bean are found in places like USA, England etc.

After doing workouts it is superb to eat raw eggs because they are loaded with proteins. The amino acid lysine is present in raw eggs could provide us many benefits.
Cooked pork:
Mostly cooked pork is consumed in the European and in many western countries. This cooked pork has got lots of animal proteins in it plus lysine etc.
Pumpkin seeds:
These edible seeds of pumpkin are also known by the name pepita. It must be noted that the seeds are flat or asymmetrically oval in shape and are light green in colour. These seeds have got fibres, proteins, lysine etc in them and are superb for our health.
