Some vitamins to be taken daily or at least weekly once by women touching the age of 45.
Vitamin B12 - this is very essential for women who are crossing the age of 45. It is especially important for women who have heart problems or those who had some surgery. Eggs, mackerel (kanangoluthi fish in Tamil), and beef are rich in vitamin B12.
Vitamin B - This is another essential vitamin. This is especially important for working women. Vitamin B gives the required energy level for a day. Spinach, salmon fish, Potato and all pulses, rich in vitamin B, can be taken regularly.
Vitamin D - Standing in sunlight daily during early mornings for 15 minutes will remove the body fatigue. Taking salmon and drinking more milk is also recommended as they are rich in vitamin D.
Vitamin Q10 - This is essential for women touching the age of 45. Fish, 9 grains and liver are rich in vitamin Q10.
Iron - During the final stages of menopause period, women tend to lose large quantum of iron. Several women suffer from sever fatigue because of this. To prevent this, the women can take greens & broccoli.
Vitamin A - Women crossing 45 must take food rich in vitamin A. This will help increase the body resistance to diseases. Carrot & sweet potato are rich in vitamin A.
