Heart disease has become too common that it affects not just the elderly, but youngsters too.
Today, the 29th September is considered as World Heart day. Speaking about this, Dr. K. Kannan, cardiologist, Stanley hospital, and Dr . Paul Ramesh Thangaraj say the theme of this years world heart day is to create a soothing environment to our heart. That means to create a pleasing and good environment at the play area, schools, office and of course, our houses.
Doctors say troubles with heart are a global issue challenging all doctors, more particularly, heart attack is a dreadful threat! Harrowingly, 20 out of 100 heart attacks turn fatal. Thinking back the history ten years from now, heart attack was something that scratched only people aging above 50 or 60. This however is not the case now, and people above 30 are easily affected in the recent years.
Reasons for heart attack:
· Lifestyle changes
· Changes in food habit
· Overweight
· Blood pressure
· Diabetes
· Smoking and liquor
Above are the most common reasons giving rise to heart attack, say doctors unanimously. Further reasons include:
· Shrinking of blood vessels in heart
· Failure of heart tissues
· Malfunctioning of heart
· Troubles with heart beat
